Special Education Screenings

The public school district will screen any student for whom there are potential developmental concerns. A screening can be conducted in any area of developmental concern (i.e. speech/language, fine or gross motor concerns, pre-academic concerns, cognitive concerns). Children who display difficulties during the screening, may be referred for a special education evaluation to identify educationally eligible disabilities.
