Viking Weekly News

November 2, 2026
Dear RMHS Students & Families,

As we approach the final week of Q1, there is much to celebrate and look forward to. This past week provided our students with several opportunities to connect and enjoy each other's company. Our athletic teams hosted a pep rally during the high school assembly to honor their achievement of reaching the state tournament level of competition. Meanwhile, our middle school students gathered to discuss the upcoming Halloween dance and reinforce the expectations that contribute to fostering a strong culture of pride.

On Friday, students in grades 6-12 participated in a Halloween dress-up day, culminating in a Halloween Costume Contest that afternoon. Congratulations to all who took part!

Looking ahead, the week brings more exciting events as the high school musical prepares for three performances of Sister Act this coming weekend. Please remember that the first quarter officially ends on Friday, November 6th. Students should be working closely with their teachers to ensure that all assignments are submitted and in order before the term closes. Report cards will be available in Aspen and distributed to middle school students on Friday, November 13th.

On the athletic front, Ms. Muzio just put out a new athletic newsletter for all to enjoy, including a full highlight of our senior festivities from this past weekend. For your convenience, I've included direct links below. Congratulations to all of our Fall athletes!

Here's to a great week ahead! 😎🍂

Why Attendance Matters

Attendance image
Being in school and on time is extremely important to your child's success. When students attend school regularly and arrive on time, they stay engaged in their learning, build strong relationships, and develop solid study habits. We appreciate your partnership with this and encourage frequent communication if there are obstacles that exist throughout the year.

The cafeteria and library are open at 7:00 am and free breakfast is available for all students. The main hallways and classrooms open at 7:25 am.
