School Choice

The Rockport Public Schools offer a challenging academic experience in a well-structured personalized school setting. We strive to provide a rigorous menu of course offerings as well as high quality fine and performing arts, and athletic programs. We remain focused on what it takes to educate the whole-student in a 21st century manner and are excited about providing a wider option of academic programming, on-line learning, dual-enrollment, and internship opportunities. The District continues to focus on academic programming at all grade levels. 

• The District has recently adopted new elementary school English/language arts instructional materials that are connected to professional development efforts in the science of reading.
• RPS will continue its partnership with Project Lead the Way. 
• High School Course Offerings: Introduction to Engineering Design, Principles of Engineering, Computer Science Essentials, Computer Science Principles, Human Body Systems 
• Middle School Course Offerings: App Creators, Magic of Electrons, Science of Technology

           This partnership provides current RMHS faculty with programming, professional  

           development and resources that support their ability to teach these courses.
