Building based committees continue to meet to fully develop hybrid and remote schedules
Hybrid and remote plans presented in this week’s oversight, parent, and SC meetings
Schedule all PD modules into the ten (10) days of staff training (8/31 - 9/15)
Full committee meets 8/13 to discuss and revise plan
Vendor to work with the RPS Maintenance Director to plan for HVAC audit

School Committee meetings are held in the RMHS Library 26 Jerden's Lane, generally on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month during the school year. Meetings begin at 7PM.

The Rockport School Committee is comprised of five members who share an interest in promoting and bettering the public education system in the town of Rockport, Massachusetts.
As defined by Mass General Law Chapter 71 Section 39, our primary responsibilities include:
Setting and maintaining policy for the Rockport Public School District.
Overseeing and approving the annual budget for the school district, and acting as the employer for collective bargaining.
Hiring the Superintendent to run the school district and annually evaluating the Superintendent’s performance
We are advocates of public education and support the core values of the Rockport Public School District while providing direction for the on-going development of the school system.
